Just a quick reminder that our live monthly Meditation for Evolutionaries gathering is tomorrow (Sunday) at 9am Pacific time.
For the first time ever, Craig has invited a special guest teacher to co-host tomorrow’s monthly Meditation for Evolutionaries gathering—his longtime friend and fellow spiritual teacher Jeff Carreira.
As you may have heard, Craig and Jeff are co-teaching a new year-long spiritual program together called Opening to the Infinite: A 12-Month Journey into the Miracle of Awakened Awareness.
Because their new program revolves around a series of immersive online retreats, we wanted to offer you an opportunity to experience what happens when these two powerful teachers join forces to guide a group meditation.
To begin the session, Jeff will give a talk about the role of “Immediacy” in meditation. If you’ve read the webpage for Opening to the Infinite, you may have noticed that “Immediacy” is one of the Eight Postures of Awakened Consciousness that Craig and Jeff will be focusing on in their online retreats and monthly activation sessions.
You’ve probably heard spiritual teachers say that enlightenment is not about getting somewhere else but about realizing who and what we already are. But what then is the role of spiritual practices like meditation?
How can we meditate without pursuing a spiritual goal in the future? What does it mean to “practice being free right now?”
In this talk, Jeff will offer a fresh response to these questions and share the essence of the unique “immediate” approach to meditation that he and Craig will be teaching during their program over the next year.
Following this talk, Craig will offer his reflections on what Jeff shared and then he and Jeff will guide us in practice for about 45 minutes followed by a half hour of Q&A focusing on questions about meditation practice.
We hope you can join us and a global community of hundreds of participants in this shared practice and exploration of meditation.
