No online or in person practice tonight and through this next week. I am feeling better, but a bit worn down. I’m hoping this week will be the charm.
Meanwhile,
I know in my own practice, especially during the first couple of years the thought arose, “Why am I doing this?” There was nothing magical, nothing “supernatural,” and sometimes my butt just got numb. Most every teacher I’ve read at some point reminds the reader that this is no surprise. But we are creatures who want to know, if we can, how are we doing on this peculiar path. Here’s a couple of talks that address what we can see and offer some recommendations on how to view our own situations. Set your timer, do the work.
