Upcoming course on Mindfulness Offered

One of our members let me know about this course (taught locally) on mindfulness which is starting soon.  There is a YouTube video below with more details about Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) on which the class is based.
There is a link to registration for the class runs through September and October on Thursday evenings with a day long retreat on Saturday Oct. 17th. Questions may be directed to Bob Ryder at rwryder@aol.com

A reminder that I’ll be hosting a course in mindfulness meditation this fall. Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction is a well researched and scientific approach to cognitive training, helping participants learn to be more aware and present in their daily lives, increase capacities for concentration and creativity and resilience, reduce counter-productive reactive thoughts and behaviors that serve us poorly, and reduce overall stress. Tuition is $425 through Fri 8/28 ($495 after 8/28). I found the course to be extremely valuable, and am glad for the opportunity to take it again and offer it to friends in Bloomington/Normal. The class will be limited to 15 participants meeting in my home on Thursday evenings in September/October from 6-9PM, with a day long retreat (9AM-4PM) on Saturday 10/17.
