BNMeditation this Sunday, 7/4/21 Outside at UUBN

Dear Beautiful Meditators,

We met last week outdoors in the memorial Garden at UUBN in person and it went well.  We all discussed and were able to establish consent to unmask and hopefully each week we will do that to comply with UUBN covid safety covenant (shown below).

This week, the weather looks great for Sunday 7/4/21, and we will meet again in the garden from 6:00-7:30.  Bring a chair or cushion (there are stone benches) if desired.

All are welcome.  Feel free to invite visitors.
Anytime you no longer want to receive the bnm emails, just let me know and I will take you off the list.  Feel free to email me with questions or comments.

Meditation group
Our group was founded in 2009.  We share leadership and are mindfulness-based. We sit together each and every Sunday in silent meditation from 6:00-7:00 and discuss short readings from 7:00-7:30. You may have already seen the website, but I want to be sure you read our group agreements (copied below).
We use a format of 20 minutes of sitting, 20 of walking or sitting meditation and another 20 minutes of sitting meditation (silently). Someone will provide a timer with interval bells.  After that, we have a reading and discussion for a half hour. It is not necessary to talk or share in the discussion if you prefer, but we welcome participation.

Group Agreements
We gather here in respect for all.
We welcome those who are newcomers and visitors.
We take turns speaking and listening, being certain that all have a chance to speak at least once if they choose.
We share ‘air time’ to the best of our ability so that each person has the opportunity to contribute to the group discussion if he/she desires.
We do not judge one another or give unsolicited advice.
We do not speak of individuals who are not present.
We do not share the email list with others outside the group without their permission.
We maintain confidentiality in regards to what is said in the group.
We begin and end on time.
UUBN Covid Safety Covenant, Yellow threat level:

-Individuals bring their own food and drink.
